The ensemble of the House of Culture leads the tradition from the singing society Momcilo, formed on April 2, 1888. After the First World War, it changed its name to “KUD Kosta Abrashevic”, and after the Second World War, the name changed to “KUD Predrag Boskovic Pavle”. From the 2000s until today, the name of the ensemble is “Ensemble of the House of Culture Pirot” and today it has over 250 members distributed in several age groups, including the choir and orchestra of the House of Culture. In recent years, the Ensemble has participated in festivals across Europe, from Portugal and Italy, to Germany, Lithuania, Greece and neighboring countries. In the capital of folklore for that year, in Plovdiv, on the stage of the Roman amphitheater built 2000 years ago at the 25th International Festival, the Ensemble presented Serbian original songs “Three Girls”, “My Thick Fog Fell”, “Kosovo Peonies” and the Bulgarian song ” You are beautiful, my mountain “, followed by a thunderous applause from over 3,500 spectators and listeners from the audience. Kopačka, games from Gornji Visoko and Shopska games were performed on the stage. In Monte Carlo, on the Formula 1 track, with the song “Pukni zoro”, the Ensemble left another trace of its art.
